Massage in the workplace

Create a sense of well-being in your workplace with massage

Have you ever considered giving a massage to your staff in order to improve their efficiency?

Would YOU like to receive a massage right now? Perhaps your shoulders and neck are a little tense?

Just close your eyes and lose yourself in that thought for a few seconds?

Don?t read on if you didn?t close your eyes!

OK. Now you can read on?

Did you know that a 15 minute massage releases muscle tension, improving the flow of blood to the brain, which in turn improves concentration and energy levels?

Many companies now hire well-being consultants, such as myself, to evaluate the health needs of their staff, and put together a well-being programme. Typically this includes massage (fully clothed), and simple tips and techniques to improve general health and well-being. All equipment is provided and only a small workspace is needed; for example, 2 square meters in the corner of an office is sufficient.

For as little as ?10 per head, your staff will feel appreciated and cared for, as well as experience the physical benefits of a relaxing massage.

Here is a summary of the benefits to your company:

?        Improved concentration means less mistakes.

?        Improved efficiency means that staff aren?t working beyond their contract hours, which makes them happy!

?        Relaxed muscles leads to improved posture, and a perky meerkat alertness.

?        Creating a feeling of well-being for staff improves the working environment. Again; more happiness.

?        When staff feel appreciated and cared for they like their bosses more and love their company!

If you?d like to experience the relaxing benefits of an office massage please contact me by phone or email to discuss your needs.

On a more serious note...

Life in the office is getting tougher and tougher. People are working longer hours with less or no breaks from their desks, and lunchtime is becoming a thing of the past.

As a result, the tell-tale signs of stress and tension are all too common in our lives. Lethargy, poor posture, and eyestrain are just a few of the physical symptoms that can reduce the quality of life.

An employee?s well-being is paramount to the success of the company.
Stress accounts for 70% of all sick leave and costs UK businesses billions of pounds every year.

For the individual, stress can lead to a general lack of interest in their work, which can filter through to the rest of their life.

Seated massage is an enjoyable way to help eliminate stress in the workplace. It requires very little time and can offer increased productivity by lifting the mood and improving the concentration levels of the recipient.

It's also really nice for your staff to know that their employer cares enough about them to make an investment in their health and well-being.

Very little space is needed for our therapists to work. A corner of the office, or even a large broom cupboard is sufficient!

Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage...aaahhh...

Once seated in this fully adjustable, comfortable massage chair you will instantly begin to relax.

Working through the clothes means that you do not need to undress.

Office massage typically takes 15 minutes, but you can also choose 10, 20 or 30 minutes. This is enough time to reduce muscle tension and create a feeling of relaxation and general well-being. Any pressure of massage can be given, from light to firm, and key areas will be targeted around the shoulders, neck and head.

At the end of your massage you will feel nicely relaxed, and hopefully have a smile on your face too!

Foot  Massage...ooohhh...

Once seated in a comfortable, reclining chair you will immediately begin to relax. Then your feet will be cleaned and massaged to release the stress and tension from your aching feet.

Foot massage typically takes 15 minutes, but you can also choose 10, 20 or 30 minutes. This is enough time to create a feeling of relaxation and general well-being. The pressure will be adjusted to suit each client, and hopefully by the end you will feel like you're floating on air!

You will feel relaxed at the end of your massage, and hopefully as if you are floating on air!
