Massage in the workplace
Stress
in the workplace
Life
in the office is getting tougher & tougher. People are working
longer hours with less or no breaks from their desks. Lunchtime is
becoming a thing of the past.
As
a result, the telltale signs of stress and tension are all too
common in our lives. Lethargy, poor posture, and eyestrain are just
a few of the physical symptoms that can reduce the quality of life.
An
employee?s well-being is paramount to the success of the company. Stress
accounts for 70% of all sick leave and costs UK businesses between
?3.5 billion and ?7 billion a year. *
For
the individual, stress can lead to a general lack of interest in
their work, which can filter through to the rest of their life.
Meditation
in the workplace has been set up to provide an enjoyable way to help
eliminate stress in the workplace. It requires very little time and
can offer increased productivity by lifting the mood and improving
the concentration levels of the recipient.
