Reflexology to your own child in Would you like to create a stronger bond between you and your baby? Does your baby or young child suffer with colic, constipation, asthma, teething or is generally unsettled? Giving reflexology to your baby could help to calm your infant and improve their health. Studies have shown that babies and young children respond incredibly quickly to reflexology, and as babies love having their feet touched it is a delightful way to calm them. Imagine, a calming treatment that takes only a minute or two, that can be done anywhere, easily: In the supermarket; At a restaurant; At home. You will be shown how to give reflexology to your own child which will pinpoint specific areas on the feet. These will include all areas that affect: Week 1: Feeding and Digesting (e.g. colic) Each session lasts about an hour. As the parent/grandparent (with parents consent), you will firstly experience the reflexology that your child will experience. Then you are shown how to apply reflexology to your child's feet. You will also be given a complete set of foot charts that you can carry around with you. On weeks 2 and 3 you will be able to recap what you have learned in the previous sessions. No equipment or previous experience is necessary to carry out reflexology on your child. The 3 workshops take place on consecutive weeks, at a time to suit you and your friends. Workshops can be done as a group, or on a one-to-one basis (with one or both parents attending, or one parent and one grandparent). If you would like to incorporate these workshops into your existing NCT or Mother & Toddler meetings you will benefit from a group discount as detailed below.
